STORIES BRASIL TROPICAL

Brasil Tropical is well-known beacause of its wonderful revue leaded by Zaza Fernandez, choregrapher, director and artistic leader. Born in Rio de Janeiro, he performs his first show, as a 15 year-old dancer and singer. In 1983, he realizes his first show in Rio with the group "Entre os dentes", a unanimous success for the Brasilian critic. In 1984, he appears in the musical Dzi Croquettes with Lennie Dalle. In Brasil, he creates several choregraphies for Mike Jagger, Tina Turner and Terence Trent Darby. In 1993, he realizes the "Music Celebration" in Paris for the TV channel France 2, and participates the show ballet for Patrick S*bastien broadcast "Succès Fou". In 1996, he writes and directs his first revue in Paris "Swing Brasil"for the Brasil Tropical and is hired to realize the choregraphies for Michel Drucker's shows. In 1998, he conceives and performs the choregraphies in London, Rio’s, a Brasilian show ordered by the Britannic Brasil consulate. He realizes the first big fashion show of the Samba schoolin the Jardin des Tuileries, in Paris for the World Cup. In 1999, he creates the new Brasilian revue of the Brasil Tropical. It is immediately a big success. One more time, Zaza Fernandez triumphes and the parisian night world pays tribute to his talent offering him the longest standing ovation of his carrier. From now on, Zaza Fernandez is a star of the Brasilian dancing...
